Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant environment
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field

Job Qualifications

2+ years of kitchen or cooking experience in a fast-paced or upscale restaurant setting
Knowledge of Latin cuisine and passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients
Understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene protocols
Ability to work well under pressure and value teamwork
Detail-oriented with strong punctuality and dependability
Spanish language skills or familiarity with Latin cooking terms (a plus)

Job Duties

Prep, cook, and plate dishes according to our curated Latin-style menu
Maintain a clean and organized station at all times
Work closely with our chef and FOH team to ensure a smooth service
Contribute ideas for seasonal specials or menu updates
Be a brand ambassador for the Rivas culinary experience
