Job Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Prior experience in a high volume kitchen preferred but not required
  • Valid driver's license strongly preferred
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment screening and physical
  • Pass and maintain Damar's background screening
  • Be clear of any felony convictions or disqualifying offenses
  • Sufficient physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience working in a high volume kitchen preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client wellbeing
  • Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing meal counts

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals from scratch and cook items in batches
  • Load food carts to ensure timely delivery of meals
  • Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness and sanitation
  • Review and accurately follow meal counts to ensure client safety
  • Take pride and ownership in workplace hygiene and organization
  • Assist in routine kitchen maintenance and inventory management
  • Adhere to food safety and health regulations
