Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Prior experience in a high volume kitchen preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license strongly preferred
- Successfully complete a pre-employment screening and physical
- Pass and maintain Damar's background screening
- Be clear of any felony convictions or disqualifying offenses
- Sufficient physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience working in a high volume kitchen preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client wellbeing
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and managing meal counts
Job Duties
- Prepare meals from scratch and cook items in batches
- Load food carts to ensure timely delivery of meals
- Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness and sanitation
- Review and accurately follow meal counts to ensure client safety
- Take pride and ownership in workplace hygiene and organization
- Assist in routine kitchen maintenance and inventory management
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations
