Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts in accordance with the hotel’s recipes and standards
  • Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet the hotel’s quality standards including taste, texture, and temperature
  • Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen including proper food storage, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations including food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Be flexible with tasks and schedules to meet the needs of the kitchen and hotel operations
