Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen
- Previous experience working in a hotel environment is preferred
- Food handler’s certification or equivalent
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts in accordance with the hotel’s recipes and standards
- Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet the hotel’s quality standards including taste, texture, and temperature
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen including proper food storage, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations including food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Be flexible with tasks and schedules to meet the needs of the kitchen and hotel operations
