Job Requirements

  • must meet the minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the united states
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • clean, sanitize, and organize the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
  • inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
