Founded with a mission to enable older adults to live their best lives, HumanGood offers a compassionate and empowering environment where residents receive not only quality living accommodations but also services designed to foster independence, dignity, and community. As a reputable and well-established nonprofit, HumanGood is recognized for its commitment to innovation, integrity, and exceptional resident experience throughout its many communities. HumanGood values its employees as essential contributors to this mission, offering meaningful career opportunities in a supportive and rewarding workplace.
The Concierge role at HumanGood is integral to creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that positively impacts all visitors, residents, and team members right from the moment they arrive. Serving as the first point of contact, the Concierge embodies the organization's core values through excellent hospitality and friendly, efficient service. This non-exempt position is offered at an hourly wage ranging from $19 to $21, depending on experience, and includes varied shifts with on-call duties, providing dynamic work schedules that accommodate diverse lifestyles.
In this role, the Concierge will greet a variety of individuals, including residents, potential residents, families, visitors, and vendors, ensuring their experience is pleasant, informative, and aligned with the high standards of HumanGood. Acting as the hub of communication, the Concierge manages both internal and external calls, taking messages and facilitating smooth communication flow. The position supports marketing and sales efforts by providing thorough and courteous overviews of the community's offerings to inquiries.
Additionally, the Concierge assists with a range of resident services, including organizing transportation arrangements, handling mail and deliveries, and coordinating visitor access, all while strictly maintaining resident privacy, rights, and safety. The Concierge also manages clerical responsibilities involving computer and office equipment use such as telephone consoles, fax machines, copiers, and shredders. Alongside these duties, the role demands professionalism and a positive demeanor that reflects the compassionate culture of HumanGood and ensures resident satisfaction at all times.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization where making a difference in the lives of seniors is at the heart of every task. HumanGood supports its team members by providing not just a job but a pathway to meaningful work where personal and professional growth is encouraged. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, holidays, 401(k) plans, health benefits, and more, designed to enhance work-life balance and well-being. Whether part-time or full-time, joining HumanGood means contributing to a larger purpose that enriches the lives of many individuals throughout California and beyond.
