Job Requirements
- must have A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- must possess some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience is desirable
- must have knowledge of food cost controls and production
- must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office
- must be willing to engage in client satisfaction activities
- ServSafe certification preferred
- ability to supervise kitchen staff
- ability to work in a high-volume, complex foodservice environment
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience
- experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- institutional and batch cooking knowledge
- comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- supervise hourly kitchen associates as needed
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
- participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
