Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of chef or kitchen manager experience in a high volume dining environment
  • ability to interpret and manage recipes to ensure compliance and minimize waste
  • excellent attention to detail
  • experience working the line daily alongside back of house staff
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years of chef or kitchen manager experience in a high volume dining environment
  • ability to interpret and manage recipes to ensure compliance and minimize waste
  • excellent attention to detail
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • experience in staff supervision and training
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety standards
  • culinary school certification or equivalent experience is preferred

Job Duties

  • Schedule and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure food preparation is perfect
  • adhere to specifications of recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation assuring high consistency
  • regularly create unique dishes and menu items for daily features and specialty events
  • provide immediate supervision of all back of house employees
  • oversee staff performance, productivity, and training to expect the best from our team
  • participate in employee hiring and discipline
  • ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness and safety are maintained through all kitchen areas at all times
  • work the line daily alongside back of house staff
