The Chef de Partie role at Valle9 is a pivotal position within the kitchen hierarchy, operating under the general direction of the Chef de Cuisine. This role centers on service excellence across not only the restaurant but also the inn and other guest experiences offered by the resort. Job Qualifications
- Michelin star restaurant experience
- Experience in Mexican cuisine
- Minimum 3 years of fine dining restaurant and culinary experience

Job Duties
- Understand the quality requirements and expectations of the restaurant
- Prioritize daily work schedules with fellow Chefs and Stages
- Assure all necessary items are in the restaurant at the start of the shift through personal inspection
- Communicate any needs to ensure quality standards are met
- Assure all areas are finished and organized to restaurant standards in a timely manner
- Responsible for efficient, consistent, and accurate production as requested by Sous Chefs, Chef de Cuisine, and Executive Chef
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
- Maintain an accurate recipe book and journal
- Collaborate in menu changes and development
- Ensure food and products meet recipes, portioning, preparation, serving, and health standards
- Organize and prioritize daily responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment
- Work to meet or exceed standards for facility appearance and cleanliness
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Take appropriate action to rectify any issues
- Ensure equipment cleanliness and maintenance
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings
- Provide mentorship to new and less experienced staff
