Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Ability to work 50+ hours per week and flexible with scheduling
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the kitchen and make final decisions on guest service matters
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, supplies, utility and labor costs
  • Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and federal, state, and local laws
  • Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation
  • Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness and appearance standards
  • Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate actions to ensure guest satisfaction
