Job Description

Clementine Briarcliff Manor is a specialized residential treatment program located in Briarcliff Manor, NY, dedicated exclusively to helping adolescents facing eating disorders such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. As part of the Monte Nido & Affiliates network, Clementine provides a nurturing and empathetic environment focused on comprehensive recovery for young individuals. The program emphasizes not only the treatment of the disorder itself but also preparing adolescents for life beyond their challenges. This preparation includes equipping them with healthy skills and a deep understanding of their personal individuality, empowering them to live fulfilling lives free from the constraints of their eating disorders.

Clementine's ethos embraces family involvement, recognizing the critical role that families play in the recovery journey. The program partners with families to provide education, support, and encouragement, creating a community of care that extends beyond the residential setting. This holistic approach ensures that adolescents have a strong foundation of resources and back-up systems as they transition back into everyday life.

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Chef to join the Clementine team, with potential opportunities to support other Monte Nido residential programs throughout the Westchester County area. This role is vital in delivering the nutrient-rich, balanced, and appealing meals necessary to support the physical and emotional well-being of our clients. The Per Diem Chef will work closely with clinical staff to align the nutritional offerings with individual therapeutic goals, ensuring that meals are not only nourishing but also embody normalized eating behaviors modeled for clients.

The position is offered on a per diem basis, providing flexibility for those interested in a dynamic healthcare setting. Compensation ranges from $29.00 to $32.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. This is an onsite role at our Briarcliff Manor location, designed for culinary professionals passionate about making a difference through their craft as part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to adolescent health and recovery.

This opportunity at Clementine Briarcliff Manor is ideal for chefs who thrive in environments that demand creativity, precision, and a compassionate approach to food preparation. The successful candidate will be responsible not only for preparing meals but also managing kitchen operations and staff, contributing to food ordering and supply management, and adapting menus to meet the evolving needs of clients in treatment. We value individuals who demonstrate reliability, flexibility, a friendly disposition, and a commitment to fostering a healing environment through culinary excellence.

Join us at Clementine Briarcliff Manor to be a part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to saving lives and enabling adolescents to realize their healthiest selves. Our commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment ensures a supportive workplace where every team member can thrive and contribute meaningfully to the wellness and recovery of young people.
