Known for its warm and welcoming environment, Glencroft integrates compassionate service with modern amenities to create a supportive and engaging atmosphere for aging adults. The facility emphasizes a heart-centered approach where caregiving goes beyond routine tasks to foster meaningful connections with residents. This community caters to the assisted living needs of seniors, including those with memory care and HUD units, ensuring individualized attention and respect towards each person’s unique lifestyle and health requirements. At Glencroft, caregivers are seen not only as healthcare providers but as vital companions who significantly enhance the resident’s daily experience. The organization prides itself on maintaining high standards of safety, dignity, and comfort for older adults, backed by a professional team committed to continuous learning and ethical care standards.
Currently, Glencroft Center for Modern Aging is seeking dedicated Certified Caregivers who demonstrate genuine compassion and professionalism to join their assisted living team. This full-time position offers a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus dispensed over three years to attract motivated and qualified applicants. The role is crucial in delivering non-clinical personal care services that support residents’ daily living activities while fostering a clean and safe living environment. Certified Caregivers at Glencroft report directly to the Director or Manager of Assisted Living and must hold a valid State of Arizona-issued Caregiver Certificate. This role demands excellent communication skills, a steady demeanor under pressure, and the ability to build strong rapport with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. The caregiver’s responsibilities are detailed and varied, focusing on both physical assistance and emotional support to promote resident well-being. Candidates will work across different units, including memory care and HUD areas, necessitating flexibility and adaptability.
A Certified Caregiver at Glencroft performs a variety of essential duties such as assisting with activities of daily living like mobility, personal hygiene, feeding, and medication administration support, alongside housekeeping and clerical tasks. They are responsible for monitoring environmental safety and resident health, documenting incidents, and ensuring compliance with residents’ Service Plans. The position requires a strong understanding of the safe use of mobility aids and aids for daily living, and an ongoing commitment to respectful, dignified care respecting residents' privacy and rights. Glencroft values caregivers who approach their work with a positive, cooperative attitude and professionalism, reflecting its core mission of enhancing life quality for seniors.
