This role requires a unique blend of advanced culinary skills, leadership capabilities, and logistical acumen needed to manage high-volume food production and off-site event coordination. The Sous Chef will play an active part in designing event menus, adapting dishes to client needs while ensuring that food maintains its quality and appeal after transport. The successful candidate will take charge of kitchen operations, oversee food preparation and packaging, supervise event-day setups, and troubleshoot any challenges that arise during live events.

With a hands-on approach, the Sous Chef will also manage and train kitchen staff, establish prep schedules that align with varying event timelines, and maintain stringent food safety and sanitation standards. They will be responsible for ordering supplies, managing inventory efficiently, and coordinating with event teams to guarantee that every function is equipped with the right materials. This position demands a flexible and resourceful individual who can excel in fast-paced environments and maintain composure when faced with unexpected obstacles. The Sous Chef fills in for the Executive Chef as needed, ensuring continuous leadership and quality control across all catering operations.

At Daphne's Catering Company, the Sous Chef role is both challenging and rewarding, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes creativity, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
