Job Requirements

  • Three plus years food preparation and general maintenance of a kitchen
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, understand, and speak English sufficient to carry out job duties
  • Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful manner
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations necessary for recipes and portions
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety rules in food production and storage
  • Knowledge of inventory control methods
  • Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to produce and present food in high-volume catering environments
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to operate independently and exercise good judgment
  • Strong culinary techniques and practices
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Completion of satisfactory background check and physical examination
  • Availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Three plus years of food preparation and kitchen maintenance experience or equivalent education and experience
  • One plus year experience in a catering kitchen preferred
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English

Job Duties

  • Provide team leadership and support in food production

  • Interact with team members and clients in a high-volume environment
  • Maintain quality and safety standards throughout catering operations
