Job Requirements
- Three plus years food preparation and general maintenance of a kitchen
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, understand, and speak English sufficient to carry out job duties
- Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful manner
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations necessary for recipes and portions
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety rules in food production and storage
- Knowledge of inventory control methods
- Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures
- Ability to produce and present food in high-volume catering environments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to operate independently and exercise good judgment
- Strong culinary techniques and practices
- Must be 18 years or older
- Completion of satisfactory background check and physical examination
- Availability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years of food preparation and kitchen maintenance experience or equivalent education and experience
- One plus year experience in a catering kitchen preferred
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English
- Ability to engage respectfully with diverse populations
- Teamwork skills
- Ability to perform basic calculations related to recipes and portions
- Knowledge of sanitation and safety procedures in food production
- Knowledge of inventory control principles
- Ability to comply with safety standards

Job Duties
- Provide team leadership and support in food production
- Assign and monitor work of kitchen staff
- Design and set up cooking and buffet stations according to event orders
- Adhere to food handling and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure timely food production aligned with event schedules
- Interact with team members and clients in a high-volume environment
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout catering operations
