Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is committed to safety through initiatives like Kid Check®. The company has made significant community contributions, donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its excellence in innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food and engaging entertainment. Both brands emphasize the importance of play to support physical wellness and develop motor skills in children. CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates family fun and aims to unite communities through exciting dining and entertainment experiences.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring Cashiers who serve as the frontline of guest service. Cashiers take orders, process payments, assist with prizes, and embody the company’s energetic and enthusiastic spirit in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build an exciting career. The company supports employee growth through cross-training in various positions and prides itself on a strong internal promotion culture, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. Employees at Chuck E. Cheese benefit from the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program which provides access to earned wages, eliminating the wait between paychecks.
Cashiers must be at least 16 years old and available for various shifts. The role requires the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring employees to effectively manage job stress while interacting positively with guests and coworkers. The position includes a range of commission opportunities based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, providing additional earning potential.
CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees, averaging 29.5+ hours per week, are eligible for extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment is committed to compliance with all state and local laws, including provisions for paid sick leave. The company upholds rigorous health and sanitation standards designed to protect the safety of guests and employees alike. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment values diversity and does not discriminate based on any federally, state, or locally protected class. Joining the CEC team means becoming part of a vibrant, inclusive workplace that values fun, career growth, and community impact.
