Job Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Proven passion for culinary excellence
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work ten hour-plus shifts and stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations
- Knowledge and proficiency of systems, methods and processes for great execution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- High school education or equivalent
Job Duties
- Run production and service according to established guidelines
- Follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards
- Complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas
- Maintain inventory within established guidelines
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development programs
- Implement seasonal menu changes
