Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in culinary or kitchen management
  • Proven passion for culinary excellence
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work ten hour-plus shifts and stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Proven passion for culinary excellence and exceeding guest expectations
  • Knowledge and proficiency of systems, methods and processes for great execution
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • High school education or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Run production and service according to established guidelines
  • Follow standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards
  • Complete and utilize daily production worksheets and waste log sheets
  • Taste completed meals to ensure quality
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, operation of equipment, food safety and sanitation
  • Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment, storage and work areas
  • Maintain inventory within established guidelines
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Participate in departmental meetings and professional development programs
  • Implement seasonal menu changes
