The role of Busser and Food Runner at Cooper's Hawk is integral to maintaining the smooth and memorable dining experience that the company prides itself on. As part of the team, Bussers and Food Runners ensure that the restaurant remains clean, organized, and running efficiently throughout every shift. Responsibilities include running food from the kitchen to the tables, resetting tables quickly and efficiently, assisting guests with carryout orders, and supporting the flow of service by pre-busing tables and replenishing necessary supplies like glassware, silverware, and dishware. This role demands excellent teamwork and communication skills as it requires constant coordination with Hosts, Servers, and Bartenders to keep the service fluid and seamless. Job Duties
- Reset tables and bar tops quickly so every guest starts fresh
- assist with running food, clearing dishes, and supporting the flow of service
- pre-bus tables as necessary
- stock and maintain clean glassware, silverware, and dishware
- communicate with hosts, servers, and bartenders to keep the dining room moving
- help the team stay stocked and ready through each shift
- greet guests with energy and assist with carryout orders to create positive impressions
