Renowned for its unparalleled hospitality and unforgettable guest experiences, American Place Casino offers more than just a gaming venue – it embodies a thriving community where team members are valued and empowered. The casino is committed to fostering a workplace culture centered on inclusivity, fun, and opportunity for career growth. As a leader in the industry, the casino continuously raises the bar for excellence, ensuring that every moment guests spend at the venue is delightful and every opportunity for employees is a pathway to professional success and personal fulfillment.
The Beverage Manager role at American Place Casino is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing the entire beverage operations across multiple outlets, including bars, lounges, and the gaming floor. This role is pivotal to maintaining exceptional guest service standards, operational efficiency, and strict adherence to all regulatory requirements related to beverage service. The Beverage Manager leads a dedicated team of bartenders, barbacks, and supervisors, focusing on training, coaching, and developing staff to achieve high performance and alignment with company values.
Beyond staff management, the Beverage Manager plays a critical role in financial stewardship of beverage operations. Managing budgets, controlling costs of goods sold (COGS), overseeing inventory, and cultivating strong vendor relationships are essential duties. The manager also strategizes on increasing revenue and profitability through innovative beverage programming, menu development, promotional events, and superior guest engagement initiatives. A strong emphasis is placed on compliance, safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized beverage environment to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
Candidates for this role should possess substantial experience in multi-unit food and beverage or casino/hotel operations, with a preferred college degree. Organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency with food and beverage equipment, and computer literacy are critical to success. The role demands the ability to thrive in high-volume, sometimes stressful settings, and physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods, along with occasional lifting. Bilingual candidates are preferred, enhancing guest communication across diverse populations.
The Beverage Manager position offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $97,500 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K with matching contributions, educational tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and additional employee assistance programs. Committed to equal employment opportunities, American Place Casino welcomes applications from all qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status. This role presents a unique chance to join a forward-thinking hospitality leader dedicated to excellence and inclusive growth.
