As the official food service provider for the Frisco Roughriders, the company offers a dynamic and engaging work environment where bartenders play a crucial role in elevating the guest experience at athletic and special events. This position is seasonal and part-time, with work schedules correlated to the timing of events and games.

Bartenders at Proof of the Pudding are entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing bar operations, from set-up to break-down, while delivering exceptional customer service. Bartenders will be expected to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and adherence to food and beverage safety regulations, including Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) standards. Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • TIPs certified or will obtain certification
  • ability to prepare mixed drinks
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs
  • strong organizational skills
  • availability to work seasonal events
  • reside within or near Frisco, TX

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator
  • must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks
  • must have exceptional customer service skills
  • TIPs must be certified (will accept similar accredited certifications)
  • must be extremely hardworking and organized
  • must be exceedingly responsible and accountable
  • maintain good grooming and personal hygiene
  • knowledge of upscale and VIP service styles required
  • TABC certified or is available to receive training
  • live within or near Frisco, TX
  • excellent listening and communication skills
  • ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.

  • strong customer service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs
  • the ability to work alone and as a team
  • strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly

Job Duties

  • Responsible for both pre and post bar set-up and break down responsibilities
  • sets bar up in a timely manner
  • communicate well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift
  • greeting all guests and give exceptional customer service
  • attentive to guests’ needs throughout the entire event
  • cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice
  • responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received
  • performs other related duties as required
