The available position is for a full-time Barista located at the Merck site in Rahway with a competitive hourly wage of $22.50. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming customer experience while preparing high-quality crafted beverages including coffee, espresso, cappuccinos, teas, and smoothies that meet client specifications. As a Barista at SodexoMagic, you will be an ambassador of excellent customer service, engaging warmly with all customers and ensuring rapid and personalized service. You are expected to maintain a clean and attractive coffee preparation area, responsibly manage supplies and inventory, and handle monetary transactions with proper adherence to cash handling procedures. The role involves continuous movement, requiring you to be on your feet for extended periods and perform physical activities such as bending, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. You will also educate customers about the menu offerings and encourage additional sales through suggestive selling techniques. Additionally, this role may require flexibility in undertaking other related duties as business needs and client requirements evolve.
