We are currently seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our team as a Bar Support Specialist. In this critical role, you will work closely with bartenders and other team members to maintain the smooth operation of the bar by ensuring it is well-stocked and presentable at all times. You will be an integral part of the restaurant’s service flow, responsible for tasks that uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. The role demands a proactive, fast-moving individual who thrives in a busy environment and exhibits a genuine care for delivering top-notch guest experiences.

The Bar Support Specialist is responsible for a broad range of duties including restocking liquors, syrups, mixers, and garnishes, cleaning and polishing glassware, and ensuring the bar area is consistently maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. This position also involves guest interaction where knowledge of the bar menu and the ability to answer guest questions accurately is essential. The role requires physical endurance to handle stock movement and maintain service standards throughout the shift. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
prior experience in a bar support or restaurant role preferred
good working knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation
ability to read write speak and understand the English language
physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous schedule
ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
willingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays

ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral schedule or recipe form

Job Duties

be a core teammate in the restaurant specifically at the bar
ensure the bar is stocked with liquors syrups mixers and garnishes
restock needed service items at bar stations i.e. kegs ice cut fruit drink garnishes clean glassware napkins straws
continuously remove guests' soiled glassware flatware and plateware as necessary
polish clean glassware flatware and plateware
wipe down the bar top surface and assist with resetting as necessary
maintain the overall cleanliness of the bar area
restock and distribute menu when needed
maintain a vast knowledge of the bar menu to accurately answer guest questions
