Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year related work experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 25 pounds

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator/host(ess) prior to functions to make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event order to gather guest information and determine proper setup, timeline, and specific guest needs
  • Respond to and fulfill any special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and thank guests genuinely
  • Speak with clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and support team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Visually verify information in various formats and inspect tools or equipment to identify defects
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs or ramps
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
