Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years food and beverage management and supervisory experience
  • Five plus years culinary management experience in fine dining, hotel or catering environment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to train and mentor staff
  • Knowledge of inventory management and scheduling
  • Must maintain mental and physical stamina for extended shifts
  • Ability to comply with company standards and code of conduct

Job Qualifications

  • Five plus years of culinary management experience in fine dining, hotel, or catering environment
  • Minimum three years of food and beverage management and supervisory experience, preferably in catering and banquets
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge and current awareness of food and event trends
  • Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse associates, management and guests
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Professional and respectful demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in training and mentoring staff
  • Knowledge of inventory management and scheduling
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in food and beverage or culinary arts or related supervisor experience preferred
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain operational effectiveness of banquet kitchen within budgeted guidelines
  • Work flexibly in all environments on and off premise ensuring food quality standards
  • Supervise all banquet and in-room dining kitchen staff during assigned shifts
  • Establish daily prep schedules for quality and service control
  • Achieve time standards for food preparation for every event served
  • Monitor inventory and manage supply orders accurately
  • Train and orient kitchen staff and manage scheduling for efficiency
