Job Description
North Italia is a renowned Italian restaurant dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience through handmade dishes prepared daily with love and passion. Known for its authentic menu items such as the Prosciutto pizza and the house specialty Bolognese, North Italia takes pride in delivering high-quality, scratch-made Italian cuisine that resonates with guests seeking genuine flavors. As a key player in the hospitality industry, North Italia fosters a warm and welcoming atmosphere not only for its guests but also for its employees, positioning itself as a family of chefs, servers, hosts, and managers united by shared hospitality values and a commitment to excellence.
The restaurant offers a dynamic and professional working environment where career growth and personal development are highly encouraged. Employees enjoy numerous perks including flexible scheduling, hospitality training, health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) after an average of 25 hours per week, paid time off under the same conditions, and discounts on meals both during work shifts and when dining with friends and family. North Italia’s culture emphasizes teamwork, respect, and inclusivity, ensuring all staff members feel supported and valued.
The Back Server / Busser role at North Italia is a vital position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dining area, which directly contributes to an outstanding guest experience. This role offers a solid hourly wage of $2.13 to $7.25, plus tips, providing an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to enter or advance within the hospitality industry. Back Servers / Bussers are essential team members tasked with clearing and cleaning tables promptly after guests leave, resetting and organizing seating areas for new patrons, and assisting servers and hosts as needed to keep service flowing smoothly.
In addition to physical upkeep duties, Back Servers / Bussers serve as friendly faces who engage with guests by offering assistance and thanking them as they leave. The position demands excellent communication skills, a hospitable spirit reflective of Italian tradition, a strong ability to work collaboratively with others, and the stamina to stand for extended periods while lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory because North Italia places a higher emphasis on attitude, personality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Joining North Italia means becoming part of a supportive company that values diversity, inclusivity, and equal opportunity employment. Prospects of career advancement, combined with an attractive benefits package and a chance to work with talented colleagues, make this an ideal workplace for aspiring hospitality professionals. Whether you are starting a career or seeking growth, North Italia offers an engaging and fulfilling role where your contributions help create memorable dining experiences every day.
