This particular opportunity is for a full-time Management position within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category. The role is based on-site at the Westin DC Downtown hotel, emphasizing direct leadership and hands-on involvement in the daily operations of the kitchen. Employees in this management role will be responsible for overseeing kitchen objectives to ensure the highest culinary standards and smooth operational performance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 3 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
- ability to lead and manage kitchen staff
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- strong organizational and communication skills
- availability to work full time on site
