Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain specializing exclusively in premium chicken finger meals—the brand's 'One Love'. Known for its dynamic company culture and engaging work environment, Raising Cane's has quickly ascended as the fastest-growing chicken concept in the United States. With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional food quality and customer service, the company emphasizes a Work Hard. Have Fun. philosophy that resonates through every location. As the company continues to expand rapidly, it aims to solidify its position among the Top 10 Restaurant Brands nationwide, making it an exciting organization to join for career-oriented individuals. The commitment to employee development and maintaining a positive social environment makes Raising Cane's an industry leader for both customers and crew members alike.
The available role is the position of Assistant Restaurant Leader, which plays an integral part in supporting the Restaurant Leader with the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while championing the Raising Cane’s standards and culture. This position offers an annual starting salary beginning at $58,000 with a monthly training incentive of $750, with pay varying based on location, experience, and qualifications. Monthly bonuses are also available following the training period, tied to restaurant profitability. This full-time managerial role requires a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, physically engaging environment and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
The Assistant Restaurant Leader is tasked with overseeing a multitude of responsibilities critical to the smooth operation and success of the restaurant. This includes hiring and terminating all hourly, non-management crew members, managing onboarding and payroll, and ensuring that all crewmembers receive proper training and scheduling. The role demands a hands-on leader capable of managing performance through coaching, development, and documentation while fostering a positive and productive workplace. This is complemented by practical responsibilities such as opening and closing the restaurant, cash handling, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and operating responsibly as the manager on duty. Given the physical demands of the role, the candidate must be prepared for extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and bending in varied temperature conditions. Working with food products, allergens, and commercial cleaning equipment requires the use of appropriate safety and protective equipment.
This role not only encompasses operational management but also embodies the spirit of Raising Cane’s culture by encouraging exemplary customer service, maintaining high standards, and promoting employee recognition and rewards. The Assistant Restaurant Leader also ensures compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures while supporting a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. The position is ideal for someone with a passion for restaurant management looking to make an impactful contribution and grow within a thriving company that values its people.
