The Assistant General Manager of Dining Services role at Lantern Hill is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing dining room and café operations across the community. The individual in this role will lead a talented team of professionals, managing everything from scheduling and hiring to training and coaching, ensuring high levels of employee development and satisfaction. This position requires keen attention to detail in maintaining food quality and presentation standards, sanitation, and safety compliance within the kitchen, dining rooms, café, storage areas, and loading dock. This role also involves ensuring adherence to company policies and state regulations, contributing to an outstanding dining experience that enhances resident satisfaction. The Assistant General Manager will participate actively in programs designed to improve both employee and resident experiences and will play a vital part in the operational success of the culinary services provided by the community. Compensation for this full-time employment ranges between $60,000 and $65,000 annually, with eligibility for an annual bonus, reflecting experience. Candidates for this role must bring with them a minimum of three years of dining room management experience, strong supervisory skills, and necessary certifications such as Serv-Safe or State equivalent. Availability to work weekends and holidays, as well as the ability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds, is essential. Job Requirements

  • Experience working in a continuing care environment
  • Compliance with state-specific regulations

Job Duties
