Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • 1+ years of preferred restaurant management experience
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain
  • Proven business acumen with ability to drive results
  • Flexible availability including nights and weekends
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 6 hours
  • Clear verbal communication skills
  • Successful completion of background check

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • ServSafe certification or ability to achieve
  • Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen
  • Availability to run great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50 pounds
  • Capable of standing and walking for up to 6 hours
  • Clear communication skills in a loud environment
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Support General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving
  • Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning
  • Support hiring, on-boarding, and training of new team members while motivating, energizing, engaging, inspiring, and celebrating the team
  • Assist with managing team performance to ensure goals, operational and quality standards, and guest service expectations are met
  • Partner with General Manager to develop managers on people’s processes and Panera’s Guiding Values and Behaviors
  • Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food, service, and team
  • Build engaging relationships leading to long-term, loyal guests
  • Follow operational procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain a healthy and safe workplace meeting health, food, safety, and culture standards
  • Assist General Manager in maintaining costs and inventory
  • Help build a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust
