Job Description
Our restaurant is a vibrant and customer-focused establishment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences through impeccable service, quality food, and a welcoming atmosphere. As part of the Taco Bell brand, known globally for its innovative menu and commitment to inclusivity and community, we pride ourselves on fostering a positive work environment that empowers employees to grow both personally and professionally. We maintain high standards in food safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction, ensuring every visit is memorable for our guests.
The role of Assistant General Manager is pivotal in the ongoing success of our restaurant. In this position, you will support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team to achieve excellence. You will serve as a role model, leading by example through training, coaching, and recognizing team members to ensure top-notch customer experiences. Taking charge during the General Manager's absence, you will make crucial decisions and manage daily operations with confidence and precision. This dynamic role involves a 50-hour workweek, including 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half, offering a balanced and rewarding compensation package ranging from $48,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on location and experience.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring customer satisfaction by modeling the MIC Success Routine, overseeing team adherence to shift excellence responsibilities, and maintaining rigorous food safety and core operational standards. You will collaborate closely with the General Manager to assess team performance, deliver constructive feedback, and address employee relations issues proactively. Your leadership in recruitment, hiring, and fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging will be key to sustaining a motivated and diverse workforce.
Additionally, you will assist with Profit & Loss management, encompassing cash control, security procedures, inventory oversight, and labor cost management. Careful review of financial reports and decisive actions to optimize performance are essential to this role. Supporting facility maintenance and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards solidifies your contribution to a safe and efficient workplace. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace challenges, and are passionate about building strong teams and fostering a positive company culture.
