Keeneland Library
Established in 1939, the Keeneland Library is the world's largest public repository of Thoroughbred industry materials. It houses over 30,000 books dating back to the late 1500s, five million photographic negatives and prints from the late 1800s, and millions of newspaper and magazine articles.
The collection covers all aspects of the industry from the early 1700s to the present. The library serves as a valuable resource for journalists, academics, racing fans, and industry stakeholders.
It offers access to a wealth of information and images for publications, broadcasts, exhibits, films, and websites.
Sustainability Initiatives
Keeneland is committed to environmental sustainability and has partnered with Rubicon, a software company specializing in smart waste and recycling solutions, to advance its zero-waste efforts.
This five-year agreement includes a comprehensive waste management program aiming to divert waste from landfills and promote recycling and sustainability practices across Keeneland's operations.
