JCC Association of North America is the continental umbrella organization for the Jewish Community Center (JCC) Movement, encompassing over 170 JCCs, YM-YWHAs, and camp sites across the United States and Canada.

Established in 1854, JCC Association has been instrumental in advancing and enriching Jewish life throughout North America.

The organization offers a comprehensive range of services and resources to its affiliates. These enable educational, cultural, social, and recreational programs that foster Jewish identity and community engagement.

These programs cater to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging.

Core Services and Initiatives

A cornerstone of JCC Association's mission is its support for the largest network of Jewish early childhood centers and summer camps in North America.

Through initiatives like the Sheva Center for Innovation in Early Childhood Jewish Education & Engagement, the organization empowers educators and program directors to enhance the quality and impact of early childhood education within the Jewish community.

In partnership with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), JCC Association launched ElevatEd, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing the shortage of qualified early childhood educators.

This collaborative effort focuses on the recruitment, retention, and credentialing of early childhood Jewish education teachers to expand Jewish family engagement.

Additionally, JCC Association serves as the only U.S. government-accredited agency dedicated to meeting the religious and social needs of Jewish military personnel through the JWB Jewish Chaplains Council.

This program provides spiritual support and community connections for Jewish service members, their families, and veterans.

Youth Programs and Events

The organization also hosts the JCC Maccabi Youth Games, an Olympic-style event for Jewish youth aged 13 to 16.

Held annually, the games foster Jewish identity and athletic excellence. They bring together thousands of young athletes from around the world to participate in various sports and cultural activities.
