Idea Public Schools

IDEA Public Schools is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing tuition-free, high-quality education to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Established in 2000, IDEA has grown from a single school in Weslaco, Texas, to a network of 143 schools across 11 regions, serving over 87,000 students.

The organization's mission is to ensure that all students are prepared for success in college, career, and life. IDEA's approach focuses on the whole child, offering a rigorous curriculum that includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses and college readiness programs.

There is also a strong emphasis on character development. The schools are known for their commitment to academic excellence, with several campuses ranking among the top high schools in the nation.

IDEA operates in various states including Texas, Florida, and Ohio.

Within Texas, the campuses are located in:

• Houston

In Florida, campuses include Tampa Bay and Jacksonville, while Ohio locations include Greater Cincinnati.
