Crossroads Turning Points

Crossroads’ Turning Points, Inc. (CTP) is Southern Colorado's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to alcohol and substance use disorder treatment, prevention, and intervention services. Established in 1979, CTP has been a cornerstone in the community, offering evidence-based programs across twenty-two counties.

Comprehensive Services Offered by CTP

• Prevention Programs: CTP implements educational initiatives aimed at reducing the onset of substance use, targeting various age groups and demographics to foster healthier lifestyles.
• Intervention Services: For individuals at risk or already engaged in substance use, CTP provides intervention strategies to guide them toward recovery.
• Treatment Programs: Specializing in heroin and opioid addiction, CTP offers a full continuum of care, including withdrawal management, residential services, outpatient treatments, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
• Co-occurring Treatment: Addressing both substance use and mental health disorders simultaneously to provide holistic care.

Specialized Programs

CTP offers unique programs recognizing specific community needs. For example, there is support for women with children tailored to their recovery journey.

The PIVOT Program is designed for individuals transitioning from incarceration, focusing on reintegration into the community with comprehensive support.

• Trinidad: 1004 Carbon Place, providing residential and outpatient addiction treatment services.

CTP accepts Medicaid and offers a sliding fee scale based on income and family size, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential services.
