Position: Special Events Coordinator

About: Hagley Museum and Library, an Equal Opportunity Employer located in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a detail-oriented Special Events Coordinator to oversee the logistics and execution of various events at the museum. The Coordinator will work under the guidance of the Special Events Manager to ensure exceptional guest and client experiences throughout the event planning process.

Requirements: An associate’s degree is required; a bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or related field is preferred; minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, operations, or related fields required, three (3) or more years preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a team environment; must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds; valid driver’s license; availability to work Tuesday through Saturday with flexibility for evening and weekend shifts.
