Position: Receptionist job
About: The Receptionist is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to visitors, clients, families, service providers, Harbor Regional Center staff, and the general public. The position involves greeting and directing visitors, answering incoming telephone calls, assisting with facility opening and security, maintaining building logs, handling general clerical tasks, participating in team activities, and ensuring client confidentiality.
Requirements: Basic knowledge of client documentation methods and practices; Accurate skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; Ability to type 40 wpm; Working knowledge of contemporary office methods; Math skills sufficient to calculate/balance routine numerical data; Strong work organization skills to meet deadlines; Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; Numerical and alphabetical filing procedures; Ability to work well under pressure with competing priorities; Effective oral and written communications skills; Bilingual Spanish proficiency; Current California driver license and state-required insurance
