Position: Operations Manager – Buena Park, CA
About: Our Operations network at Amazon delivers millions of packages and smiles to customers every day. We are seeking customer-focused individuals to join us as Operations Managers, leading and developing a team of salaried and hourly talent. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance within the team, while also driving productivity and efficiency through data-driven decisions. Key responsibilities include supporting, mentoring, and motivating the workforce, leading projects with a regional impact, managing safety, quality, and productivity, and collaborating with support teams to meet business objectives. This role involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds, standing/walking for up to 12 hours, and working in variable environments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years of employee and performance management experience; 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience; ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
