Position: Marketing and Special Events Coordinator
About: Café Momentum is a nonprofit restaurant and professional training facility in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. We offer a 12-month paid internship for justice-involved youth, providing them with an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of the restaurant industry. Throughout the program, our interns receive support from a dedicated case management team that focuses on social and life skills development. Café Momentum’s mission is to transform young lives by equipping our community’s justice-involved youth with life skills, education, and employment opportunities to help them achieve their full potential. Café Momentum Atlanta is seeking a Marketing and Special Events Coordinator who is passionate about storytelling with a digital-first mindset. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, managing marketing campaigns, social media, and event planning to elevate the mission of empowering justice-impacted youth.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, event planning, marketing and or social media; Strong experience with video and photo editing, particularly on social platforms; Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, Adobe Premiere, Canva, and Hootsuite; Expertise in event logistics, budget management, and working with vendors; Understanding of brand strategy and community engagement in a mission-driven organization; Proven track record in social media content creation and distribution; Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing innovative marketing ideas; Strong decision-making skills, especially under tight deadlines; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and ownership of tasks; Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
