Position: Kitchen Lead – Abe Martin Lodge
About: The Indiana State Park Inns, one of the oldest state parks lodging systems in the country, operates seven unique facilities in Indiana offering a natural and memorable guest experience. Specifically, Abe Martin Lodge, located just outside Nashville, Indiana, is situated in the picturesque hills of Brown County State Park, featuring 84 guest rooms, the Little Gem Restaurant, cabins, an indoor water park, and over 6,000 square feet of banquet/conference space.
Requirements: Graduate of Culinary or equivalent work experience; Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role in high-volume establishments; Above average interpersonal skills; Strong planning and organizational abilities; Must be able to lift in excess of 30 pounds while twisting and walking; Able to work for extended periods standing/moving in above-average temperatures; Serve-Safe certified or the ability to obtain certification; Availability for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays; Effective communication with coworkers and guests; Ability to assist coworkers and guests as needed
