On-premises license

If your hotel serves alcohol, you may be required to have an on-premises license from the New York State Liquor Authority. This license is required for those working in hotels, bars, restaurants and taverns that sell alcohol. Keep in mind that only those over 21 can get this license.

Food protection certificate

Some hotels may require you to have a Food Protection Certificate as you may supervise food operations, including preparation and processing. This certification, as required by the Health Code, equips you with sufficient knowledge of best practices for food safety.
