Position: Executive Chef – The Local
About: The Local, a new sports bar in Miami, located across the street from PNC Arena, is currently under renovation and will soon be launched with an elevated menu. The Carolina Hurricanes acquired and rebranded the former Backyard Bistro into The Local, and they are now seeking an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen operations and culinary team.
Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role; Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred; In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to manage a budget and control costs; Excellent organizational and time management skills; Must have valid NC driver’s license; Must pass criminal background check and have acceptable driving record
