Position: Executive Chef job
About: Aramark Student Nutrition provides food and nutrition services to over 350 school districts in the U.S. It offers public and private education institutions a variety of dining options including breakfast and lunch programs, after-school snacks, catering, nutrition education, and retail operations. The Executive Chef is a management position overseeing chef managers as well as hourly culinary staff, responsible for developing and executing culinary solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. The company partners with schools to create culinary experiences that propel students to success, aiming to provide healthy, nutritious meals with a stellar dining experience for the communities.
Requirements: Requires at least 4 years of culinary experience; At least 2 years in a management role preferred; Requires a culinary degree or equivalent experience; Ability to multi-task; Ability to simplify the agenda for the team; Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession including experiential knowledge for management of people and/or problems; Requires oral, reading, and written communication skills
