Yard Truck Driver - CDL Class A - Penske Logistics

Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Class A Yard Drivers to join their team at the Grand Prairie, Texas location. This role offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $21.77, with overtime pay available after 40 hours of work weekly, giving drivers the opportunity to maximize their earnings. As a Class A Yard Driver at Penske Logistics, you will operate late-model trucks provided by Penske Truck Leasing, equipped with best-in-class specifications designed for driver comfort and efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to expertly move trailers in and out of docks as directed by management, including coupling and uncoupling trailers, chocking trailers during loading and unloading, and pulling from doors. Flexibility is important, as there may be occasions where leaving the yard to support local deliveries and trailer recoveries is required. You will be responsible for routine inspections such as checking tires and fuel levels throughout the day to ensure safety and operational readiness.

The work schedule for this role is Wednesday through Sunday, with shifts starting between 5 AM and 6 AM, allowing for early starts and consistent daily hours.
