Tao Group Hospitality is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality industry, known for delivering distinctive culinary and premium entertainment experiences. The company operates an impressive portfolio of restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, and daylife venues across the world. This portfolio includes well-known brands such as TAO, OMNIA, Marquee, LAVO, Beauty & Essex, Cathedrale, Little Sister, The Highlight Room, Sake No Hana, KOMA, Avenue, Fleur Room, JEWEL, and many more. As part of Mohari Hospitality, an investment firm focused on luxury lifestyle and hospitality sectors, Tao Group Hospitality benefits from over 25 years of industry expertise, consistently setting the benchmark for innovative and unforgettable guest experiences. The company's mission is to exceed guest expectations and continuously reinvent the future of hospitality, combining creativity and excellence in all aspects of service.
The role available is that of a Host, an essential position that acts as the first point of contact for guests within the venue. The host assists the maitre d' by managing guest seating and reservation flow, balancing both reservations and walk-in guests to optimize service efficiency and maximize guest satisfaction. The responsibilities include greeting and interacting with guests and team members in a courteous and professional manner to ensure gracious hospitality. This role requires the ability to anticipate guest needs, maintain a clean and organized entrance and venue, comply with health regulations and sanitation standards, and assist in reservation management and guest inquiries. Additionally, hosts support the dining room team by providing initial table setups and help execute opening and closing procedures, including printing and organizing menus and performing assigned side work. The position also demands active participation in daily meetings and training sessions to stay updated on venue practices and operational standards.
An ideal candidate will have at least one year of host experience or related hospitality experience within Tao Group Hospitality or a similar high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge environment. Strong communication skills, positive energy, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting are crucial. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, moving quickly, pushing or lifting up to 75 pounds, and adapting to a dynamic environment with noise, crowds, and potential exposure to cleaning materials. Flexible availability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays is necessary. The candidate must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, demonstrating teamwork, confidentiality, and courteous interaction with guests and staff at all levels.
Tao Group Hospitality offers competitive benefits to its full-time team members, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement program with employer match, life and disability insurance plans, ancillary insurance options, employee assistance programs, fertility and family forming support, pet insurance, access to the TAO Marketplace, employee discounts, paid time off, and more. This comprehensive package supports both the personal and professional growth of their employees, reinforcing the company’s commitment to fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Joining Tao Group Hospitality means becoming part of a respected, dynamic, and innovative team dedicated to exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
