The company takes pride in providing its employees with numerous benefits and programs designed to promote job satisfaction and work-life balance.
The position available is for a part-time Wine and Spirits Clerk/Cashier at the West Allis location, reporting to the Wine and Spirits Department Manager. This role is uniquely suited for individuals passionate about retail customer service, those who may have experience as bartenders, or anyone enthusiastic about helping customers discover new favorites. This includes local craft beers, premium wines, and specialty spirits.
Responsibilities include providing knowledgeable and friendly service, supporting the team, maintaining inventory, ensuring accurate pricing, operating the cash register efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming departmental environment. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, management, and fellow team members. Employees must also demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance with company policies. Festival Foods offers a dynamic work schedule, which may encompass mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, accommodating the employee’s availability.
Employees in this position benefit from an industry-leading associate discount of 15% on grocery purchases for themselves and their immediate households. They also receive weekly pay with premium pay opportunities on Sundays and select holidays, in addition to advanced scheduling for enhanced work-life balance. Festival Foods supports its associates with vision and dental insurance, paid parental leave, fitness reimbursement programs, employee assistance programs, and a 401(k) plan with discretionary matching to encourage retirement savings.
By joining Festival Foods as a Wine and Spirits Clerk/Cashier, you become a part of an inclusive team that values diversity and is committed to equal employment opportunities. The company strives to cultivate a respectful and motivating workplace where associates from all backgrounds can thrive, grow their careers, and make meaningful contributions to their communities. This is your opportunity to join a thriving Wisconsin grocer that emphasizes both customer satisfaction and employee well-being in a culturally rich and rewarding environment.
