The current opportunity is for a motivated team member who will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining and bar areas. This position involves a variety of essential duties, including cleaning and setting up tables promptly for new guests, assisting with clearing dishes and glassware, and ensuring that all areas such as the restrooms, patio, and waiting areas remain sanitary and inviting. The role also requires managing trash and debris removal to uphold the establishment's high standards of hygiene.

Additionally, the team member will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of high chairs and booster seats, performing assigned sidework, and participating in shift changes and opening/closing duties. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as it involves frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment can include damp and high-temperature conditions, both indoors and minimally outdoors, which demands resilience and adaptability.

Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and complete necessary certifications, including the Florida Responsible Vendor program and food safety certification, ensuring compliance with both Whale's Rib policies and Florida statutes.
