This team member also assists in food preparation by staging raw food stock appropriately and ensuring the timely assembly of food items.
Aside from customer interaction, employees in this position are involved in practical tasks such as serving beverages and desserts and ensuring the flow of customers is maintained by staging customers in the serpentine area. The work environment is moderately noisy, and employees should be comfortable working around kitchen equipment that produces heat and cooking oils. Job Duties
- Greet the customer
- suggestive sale and answer questions about products
- record the customer's order
- stage customers in serpentine area to maintain a smooth customer flow
- select requested food items from serving or storage areas and assemble items on serving tray or in takeout bag
- serve cold drinks, hot beverages, and desserts
- receive payment
- assist customers with questions or complaints
- retrieve raw food stock and place at appropriate station for preparation
