The Wellness Concierge role at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is vital in extending this excellence into the Sports Club and wellness offerings. Serving as the primary point of contact and hospitality ambassador within the Sports Club, the Wellness Concierge ensures every member and guest is warmly greeted, feels welcomed, and receives attentive, personalized service. This position requires an individual passionate about luxury hospitality and wellness who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting that values member engagement and innovative wellness programming. The Wellness Concierge manages scheduling of a variety of wellness and fitness services, including group fitness classes, personal training, Pilates sessions, and recovery offerings. Additionally, this role oversees billing and point-of-sale transactions, coordinates special programs such as metabolic testing, and supports retail sales and member onboarding.

The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of relevant experience in concierge, wellness, spa, or luxury resort environments. They should possess strong customer service skills, detailed knowledge of wellness and fitness programming, and proficiency with reservation and billing systems. CPR/AED certification is preferred or must be obtained shortly after hire. The Wellness Concierge also collaborates closely with Sports Club supervisors and instructors to ensure smooth daily operations and contribute positively to member satisfaction and retention.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently
Minimum two years experience in concierge or related hospitality or wellness environment preferred
CPR/AED certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days of hire
Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods
Ability to move throughout the Sports Club and wellness facilities
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to work flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to operate computer and point-of-sale systems
Ability to communicate effectively with members, guests, and colleagues

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate's degree in Hospitality, Recreation, Business Administration, Wellness, Fitness Management, or related field preferred
Minimum two years experience in concierge services, front desk operations, hospitality, wellness, spa, fitness club, or luxury resort environments preferred
Experience with scheduling, booking systems, point-of-sale systems, billing, and guest service operations preferred
CPR/AED certification preferred or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
Strong customer service and hospitality skills with a passion for member engagement
Knowledge of fitness, wellness, recovery, and recreational services preferred
Proficiency with scheduling, reservation, billing, and point-of-sale systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and club management software
Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Technogym platform experience preferred

Job Duties

Maintain professional appearance, grooming, and personal hygiene standards
Greet members and guests warmly while delivering exceptional hospitality and personalized service
Manage member and guest check-in procedures efficiently and accurately
Schedule and coordinate group fitness classes, personal training sessions, Pilates appointments, wellness consultations, recovery services, and special programs
Coordinate PNŌ metabolic testing appointments and assist with member preparation and follow-up scheduling
Process billing transactions, retail purchases, membership charges, and service payments accurately
Provide facility tours and educate members on Sports Club amenities, programs, and wellness services
Assist members in selecting wellness programs, services, and offerings that support their goals
Maintain continuous coverage of the concierge desk during operating hours
Coordinate member flow and communicate operational needs with Sports Club Supervisors, Attendants, Trainers, and Instructors
Respond to member questions, concerns, and service requests in a professional and timely manner
Escalate concerns appropriately to Sports Club leadership when necessary
Promote retail merchandise and wellness-related products to enhance the member experience
Assist with member onboarding and support wellness engagement initiatives
Maintain accurate attendance, revenue, scheduling, and member usage records
Support departmental events, wellness programs, special activities, and member engagement initiatives
Ensure the concierge area remains clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and safety meetings as required
Follow all company policies, procedures, and departmental operating standards
Execute responsibilities that support Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond, and luxury hospitality service standards
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sports Club Manager or Executive Director of Wellness
