This welding position requires candidates with skills in operating welding equipment safely and effectively, inspecting welds to meet established standards, and reading and interpreting welding procedure specifications (WPS) and drawings. Qualified welders will work with various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys including invar. Responsibilities include clamping, holding, tack-welding, bracing, grinding, or bolting components to achieve correct configurations before welding.

The job involves lifting and moving materials using overhead cranes and hi-los and requires physical stamina due to frequent standing, climbing, stooping, and occasional lifting of heavy materials. Adherence to safety guidelines and company procedures is critical in this role to ensure a safe work environment for all.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, with additional certification or equivalent work experience in machine tool technology preferred. Demonstrated experience in welding multiple alloys using various techniques is highly valued.
