The Weekend Concierge plays a pivotal role at Manor on 1st by serving as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, families, and prospective residents during weekend hours. This role is essential in maintaining the community's high standards of hospitality and professionalism. The Weekend Concierge warmly welcomes everyone entering the facility, ensuring that the front desk area operates smoothly and represents the community's commitment to exceptional service. In addition to greeting guests, the Concierge manages administrative functions such as answering phones, coordinating visitor sign-ins, handling deliveries, and providing assistance to residents and staff.

This position requires someone who is dependable, friendly, organized, and ready to assist wherever needed. The ability to maintain confidentiality, communicate effectively, and work independently during weekend shifts is critical. The role also includes supporting community events and resident activities when necessary, contributing to the vibrant and engaging atmosphere that Manor on 1st is known for. Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • customer service, hospitality, concierge, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • professional appearance and positive attitude
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • dependable attendance and reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Welcome residents, families, guests, and vendors with warmth and professionalism
  • answer and direct incoming telephone calls
  • greet prospective residents and notify the appropriate staff member of their arrival
  • maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • manage visitor sign-in procedures
  • accept deliveries and notify staff of package arrivals
  • monitor the front entrance and support community security
  • provide information and assistance to residents and visitors
  • assist with filing, copying, scanning, data entry, and general office duties
  • prepare welcome packets and marketing materials
  • support community events and resident activities when needed
  • communicate concerns promptly to management
  • provide weekday coverage as needed for vacations, appointments, or staffing shortages
  • perform additional administrative duties assigned by the executive director
