Job Description

With over 70 venues located coast to coast, Wedgewood Weddings offers beautiful locations that combine stunning settings with stress-free planning through their all-inclusive packages. Their expert team manages all the logistics so clients can avoid the usual stress and headaches of organizing a wedding. Dedicated to hospitality excellence, the company is known for its seamless and unique celebration experiences that provide exceptional value, service, and convenience for every client. They foster a culture of passion and dedication, hiring individuals who are eager to make every celebration extraordinary and memorable.

The role of the CCSA (Captain, Coordinator, Sales Admin) at Wedgewood Weddings is designed as an entry-level position perfect for individuals launching their careers in event management and wedding planning. This role is ideal for energetic, enthusiastic candidates who want to gain hands-on experience and build a foundation in the wedding industry. As a CCSA, you will learn the entire process of planning and executing flawless events, from the initial coordination to running day-of logistics. The position requires a candidate with a great eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and speed are essential. No prior wedding experience is required, making it a welcoming opportunity for those enthusiastic about hospitality and ready to learn.

In this role, candidates will gain valuable experience running events like a professional, handling all operational aspects including event setup, managing event teams, and overseeing the guest sendoff. You will coordinate vendor communications, manage floor plans, and ensure every element of the wedding day is executed perfectly, including rehearsal coordination and decor setup. This position is not only about executing events flawlessly but also about building the skills and confidence necessary for career growth within Wedgewood Weddings. Successful CCSAs are primed to advance to roles such as Catering Sales Manager as the company continues to expand.

Wedgewood Weddings offers a comprehensive benefits package and a growth-oriented culture that prioritizes employee satisfaction. The company has a strong internal promotion record where 80% of General Manager and Regional Manager positions are filled by existing team members, providing a clear career path. Employees also benefit from competitive pay, a favorable bonus structure, paid time off, and medical, dental, vision, accident, and life insurance coverage. Additional benefits include a company-funded health reimbursement account and a 401(k) plan with company match. This role is full-time and benefits-eligible, located in Carmel, CA, and requires working evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with events. If you are passionate about creating memorable wedding experiences and want to be part of a team dedicated to hospitality excellence, Wedgewood Weddings offers an ideal launching point for your career in the wedding industry.
