Job Description

Leigh & Co. Events is a dynamic and rapidly expanding wedding planning company with operations spanning the entire United States. Specializing in wedding design, coordination, and comprehensive planning services, we are dedicated to creating memorable and seamless experiences for engaged couples as they celebrate one of the most significant milestones in their lives. Our team consists of passionate and detail-oriented professionals who thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with clients to tailor each wedding uniquely to their vision and style. Our commitment to excellence and client satisfaction has fueled our growth and reputation within the wedding industry nationwide.

We are currently seeking talented Lead Wedding Coordinators in Kentucky to join our team for the 2026 wedding season and beyond. This exciting contract role offers flexible scheduling options, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life effectively. Compensation is competitive, with planners earning $300 per project, encompassing a total commitment of 10 to 12 hours. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this role, regardless of prior experience with Leigh & Co. Events.

As a Lead Wedding Coordinator, you will serve as the primary onsite planner responsible for delivering exceptional wedding planning services directly to our clients. Your role involves close collaboration with client experience managers during the planning stages, followed by leading and supervising the execution of wedding ceremonies and receptions onsite. A critical aspect of this position is ensuring that each event proceeds smoothly, aligns with the event design, and reflects the couple's vision. The position demands an upbeat, solutions-oriented mindset to confidently handle any last-minute issues that arise, prioritizing client satisfaction and a flawless guest experience.

Your responsibilities will include attending final details calls approximately six weeks before each wedding to solidify logistics, timelines, and expectations. On the day prior, you will lead the ceremony rehearsal, coaching participants on timing, processional sequences, and cues to ensure confidence and a polished presentation. On the wedding day, you will manage the entire event flow from the arrival of vendors through to the event breakdown, acting as the main point of contact onsite. This includes directing vendors, coordinating setup, assisting with decor placement, supporting the wedding party and family, and ensuring all personal and event items are properly packed and accounted for by event end.

This role is perfect for individuals with at least two years of experience in wedding or event planning who possess excellent communication skills, are highly detail-oriented, and are passionate about providing top-tier client service in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds are essential. The role requires weekend availability as most weddings occur during these days.

Joining Leigh & Co. Events means becoming part of a vibrant organization dedicated to crafting unforgettable moments with professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm. This opportunity allows you to grow your career in the wedding planning industry while enjoying the flexibility and support of a national company that values its contractors. If you are motivated to deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in dynamic event settings, we invite you to apply and help us make wedding dreams come true throughout Kentucky and beyond.
